The baby ibises did not make an appearance on this visit, although some care-of-young behavior was observed taking place below the rim of the nest. Juvenile ibis grow rapidly, and we expect to see much more of the young birds on our next visit.

The White Ibis located more toward the interior of the rookery were still incubating eggs. These nest cannot be more than two weeks behind those on the perimeter, so we expect to see hatchling in those nest soon as well.
