Of the many White Ibis nests in this part of the UTSWMC rookery, I have found only one that has had a successful brood.

The young ibis on that nest is growing rapidly, and the juvenile is quickly approaching the size of an adult. Its originally short, straight beak is becoming long and curved.

Incubation on other ibis nests in the same general area seem to be running long. I suspect something may have gone wrong on these nests. The next week or so will tell the tale.
