Male and female American Wigeons photographed on one of the ponds in the Nob Hill Greenbelt Park on the day after Christmas. A winter storm had given the area a rare white Christmas, and snow was still on the ground a day later when these pictures were taken. The temperature this morning was just above 20F/-7C.
