I found this unusual looking insect just off the stoop of my house. So effective is its camouflage that I had to do a double-take just be sure if I was looking at a plant or animal here. As you can see this insect’s wonderful camouflage gives it the appearance of a lush green leaf right down to the plant-like veining. It is really a remarkable adaptation.
