These are Canada Geese congregating in the parking lot of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. Many of these birds appear to be suffering from the heat of a late afternoon Texas summer. A number of the geese can be seen panting. Others are accessing and defending small puddles of water to the degree they are able to.
