The White Ibises at the UTSWMC rookery continue their egg incubation. Conditions in the rookery are challenging, especially for the late arriving birds like the ibises. The nests in these pictures are covered in bird droppings which rain down from the higher branches. Once the summer heat sets in, things likely will go from bad to worse.
