I photographed this Paper Wasp on a neighbor’s front porch. This queen wasp was busy constructing its nest. If you look closely at the pictures you will see that a number of the cells already have eggs laid in them. These cells will remain open ended and when the eggs hatch the larvae will be cared for by adult wasps until they pupate.
