I set my scouting camera scouting camera up in a gully near an elementary school in Flower Mound. I baited the camera with dry cat food, and at around 4:30 am it recorded this series of photos.
Here the adult Raccoon cautiously approaches the pile of bait, triggering the camera for the first time.
The Raccoon finally sits down and begins to eat.
This is the last picture I recorded of the Raccoon on this night. Made curious by the camera’s previous snapshots, the Raccoon came closer to investigate. His face must have been within inches of the camera when it flashed for the third time.
