We found these three Mallard ducklings at Sunset Bay on White Rock Lake. The three appear to be abandoned or orphaned, as there was no adult bird attending to them as we watched. These little guys were quite capable of getting around and feeding themselves, but survival will be challenging for them without the protection of their mother.
