I stirred this very vocal Red-tailed Hawk from his perch on a utility tower as I approached his position. I had heard the hawk calling for sometime before I saw him. As I drew nearer the redtail took to the air and circled overhead attempting to gain altitude. He vocalized frequently as he flew.
