Both adult Red-tailed Hawks were soaring high in the sky when we arrived at the nest this week. This allowed us an excellent look at their lone eyas. This fine looking fellow is growing fast is now around 4 weeks old. You can see from these pictures that dark brown feathers are beginning to replace the white fuzz of youth on his wings!
