Standing next to a pond in the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, I heard the distinctive, throaty call of a male bullfrog. The frog was droning on from someplace on the opposite side of the pond, but I could not determine from where. Just for kicks, I pointed my camera in the general direction of the sound and snapped a few pictures.
Sure enough, when I got home and blew up the image a bit—an American Bullfrog!
