This is the lead element of a much larger group of Great-tailed Grackles coming into to roost for the night. The intersection of Josey Land and Hebron Parkway in Carrollton, Texas is a favorite spot to overnight for these birds. The crisscrossing utility lines and many trees at these crossroads makes this location ideal.
