Although these two Harvestmen (possibly Leiobunum vittatum) appear to be engaged in a desperate life-or-death struggle, they are actually mating. The larger of the two is the female and the smaller, red-hued individual is the male. These two were photographed on a park bench at the River Overlook near the end of the Buckeye Trail in Dallas’s Great Trinity Forest.
