This Red-tailed Hawk was observed sitting atop an old concrete structure, which I assume is an abandoned grain silo of some type. The Hawk was approximately 300yd/274m away, but he could still be heard calling to another unseen hawk nearby. The second hawk’s replies could also be easily heard in spite of the distance. This
