Northern Shoveler - What's Going on Here

These Northern Shovelers where photographed in our neighborhood Beaver pond. This observation is of note because of the other ducks on the pond with the shovelers. Northern Shovelers have large bills compare to other ducks. The image reflected in the water produces an optical illusion that creates the impression of an even larger snout.
