These two Scissor-tailed Flycatchers may be jockeying for the prime spot on a power line. One bird has claimed the prized position, but he doesn’t hold it long. A second bird—which appears to be a juvenile—dives in from above and successful drives the first bird away. The coveted perch has been usurped!
