There were fifteen to twenty Black Vultures congregated at this site when we arrived. The group of birds was collected near the tree line, but the attractor was not visible.

Some of the birds were in the trees, and others were on the ground. The vultures on the ground were focused on something in the tall grass.

As the birds converged on whatever it was behind the weeds, something unseen spooked them and the entire group took to the air.
