This is the lower jawbone of a Raccoon. It was found on a dirt trail near McCommas Bluff in the Great Trinity Forest. If you look closely at the pictures below, you can see that some tissue still remains near the end of the jawbone. It is not clear what happened to the Raccoon, and the rest of the skeleton was not found.
