This observation is part of a weekly monitoring of an active Red-shouldered Hawk nest. Last week’s observation can be seen here: Red-shouldered Hawk – Nest

This Red-shouldered Hawk nest was first brought to my attention on March 23, 2012. It is unclear how long the nest has been active this season, but as of this observation I have been monitoring it for 12 days.

The eggs are still being incubated. We expect much more activity at this site once the eggs have hatched.

This observation is continued here: Red-shouldered Hawk – Nest Update 2
