I found this Fox Squirrel in a large tree near the parking lot of a public school in Farmers Branch. He was sitting in the crotch of the tree, roughly 8ft/2m off the ground.

I was able to approach, with my camera, to within just a couple of feet/meters of where he was located. The squirrel was obviously quite used to human activity, and was largely unconcerned with my picture taking.

  1. I love watching squirrels. We have several in our yard. I enjoy the way they flick their tails with so much personality. Its also fun watching them chase each other around the yard when they do that.
