I have been finding Green Anoles in my yard for a number of years now. And, each year there seems as if there are more and more of these charming lizards to be found. Yesterday, I came across this pair engaging in mating behavior, and took a few pictures.

  1. .

I’ve seen these beautiful green, red-throated lizards at my Dallas home.

Several years ago I was surprised to see a huge one on top of my back gate.

Since then, I’ve seen several on my front porch… one green, red-throated one
ran across my porch today, July 12.

I’ve also seen smaller brown lizards… one seems to live behind my porch mailbox
and sometimes I discover a baby lizard inside my house… so I carefully scoop him up
    and put him outside 🙂
