Walking through the woods this past weekend we came across this unusual find—a Coyote’s lower jawbone.
There were remnants of hair and tissue on the jawbone, so the Coyote must have been relatively recently deceased. Even so, a quick look around the immediate area failed to turn up any sign of the rest of the animal.
